The Sun Hydraulics DNDCXTV936 (DNDCXTV936) is a direct-acting, solenoid-operated, 4-way, 3-position spool valve designed for versatile hydraulic applications. This valve features a spring-centered neutral position and allows directional flow control when either coil A or B is energized. Specifically, energizing coil A directs flow from port 3 P to port 2 A and from port 4 B to port 1 T, while energizing coil B channels flow from port 3 to port 4 and from port 2 to port 1. With a fatigue-rated solenoid tube assembly for up to 5000 psi (350 bar), this valve operates efficiently without requiring minimum hydraulic pressure. It is well-suited for differential flow circuits where higher return flows should be directed through specific ports. The DNDCXTV936 employs EPDM seals suitable for phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals are incompatible with petroleum-based substances. Its wet armature design ensures that working fluid surrounds the armature, which can impact performance if the coil remains energized for extended periods due to heat exposure.
