The Sun Hydraulics DOHPLDN (Material Number: DOHPLDN) is a normally open, balanced poppet switching element designed for precise hydraulic control. This component remains open when pilot pressure is applied to port 3 until the pressure reaches the preset limit determined by the integral pilot relief stage, at which point the poppet shifts to a closed position. Featuring a unique balanced construction, it ensures predictable switching with high pressures of up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both port 1 and port 2. The valve will revert to an open state when pilot pressure falls below 145 psi (10 bar). It is hydraulically balanced between port 1 and port 2, which are fully isolated from ports 3 and 4, ensuring minimal leakage\u2014typically less than 10 drops/min at maximum pressure. All ports can accommodate pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar), and the design incorporates Sun's floating style construction to minimize internal part binding due to installation torque or machining variations. This valve fits into a T-23A cavity and belongs to Series 3 with a capacity of up to 60 gpm (240 L/min). Installation requires a torque of between 150 -160 lbf ft (203 -217 Nm), while adjustments can be made using an internal hex size of 5/32 in. (4 mm). This is a normally open, balanced poppet, switching element. When pilot pressure is applied to port 3, the poppet remains open until the pilot pressure reaches the setting established by the integral pilot relief stage, at which point the poppet shifts to the closed position.
