The Sun Hydraulics DOJRXHN (DOJRXHN) is a normally open, balanced poppet, switching element designed for efficient hydraulic control. The valve operates by maintaining an open position when the vent port (port 4) is blocked and shifts to a closed position when port 4 is vented, provided there is sufficient pressure at port 3. This model features unique balanced construction, enabling predictable switching with pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports 1 and 2, with a minimum pilot pressure of 400 psi (30 bar) at port 3. The hydraulically balanced design between ports 1 and 2 ensures that these ports are fully sealed from ports 3 and 4, which are also positively sealed. The leakage rate between ports 1 and 2 is exceptionally low, typically less than ten drops per minute at maximum pressure. Port 4 can be externally connected to a pilot switching valve with a recommended leakage rate of less than ten drops per minute to meet the pilot flow requirements efficiently. This valve will open when the pilot pressure falls below 145 psi (10 bar).
