The Sun Hydraulics DSCOXEV (DSCOXEV) is a spring-offset, high-side shuttle cartridge valve designed for 2-position operation within hydraulic systems. This valve features a normal offset position that connects the common port (port 3) to work port 4 while blocking work port 2. When the pressure at port 2 exceeds that at port 4, the cartridge shifts, connecting the common port to port 2 and blocking port 4. Although designed for a 4-port cavity, the nose port (port 1) remains unused. This model incorporates Sun's floating style construction, which reduces the risk of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. The DSCOXEV is built for use in T-31A cavities and belongs to Series 1 with a capacity of up to 15 gpm (60 L/min). It can operate under a maximum pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar).
