The Sun Hydraulics DSGOXCV (DSGOXCV) is a high-performance spring-offset, high-side shuttle cartridge valve designed for precise hydraulic control. This 2-position valve features a normal offset position that connects the common port (port 3) to work port 4, with work port 2 blocked. When the pressure at port 2 exceeds that of port 4, the valve shifts to connect the common port to port 2 while blocking port 4. Although it fits into a 4-port cavity, the nose port (port 1) remains unused. The valve utilizes Sun's floating style construction, which helps minimize internal binding due to excessive installation torque or machining variations in the cavity and cartridge. The DSGOXCV is compatible with T-33A cavities and belongs to Series 3. It has a flow capacity of up to 60 gallons per minute (240 liters per minute) and can operate at a maximum pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar). Spring-offset, high-side shuttle cartridges are 2-position valves that have a normal (offset) position that connects the common port (port 3) to work port 4, with work port 2 blocked. When the pressure at port 2 rises above the pressure at port 4, the cartridge shifts to connect the common port to port 2 with port 4 then blocked.
