The Sun Hydraulics DSIOXCN (DSIOXCN) is a spring-offset, high-side shuttle cartridge valve designed for efficient hydraulic fluid control. This 2-position valve features a default offset position where the common port (port 3) connects to work port 4, while work port 2 remains blocked. When pressure at port 2 surpasses that at port 4, the cartridge shifts to link the common port with port 2, subsequently blocking port 4. Despite being designed for a 4-port cavity, the nose port (port 1) is not utilized in this configuration. The valve incorporates Sun's floating style construction, which reduces the risk of internal component binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity and cartridge machining. The DSIOXCN fits into a T-34A cavity and belongs to Series 4 with an impressive capacity of up to 120 gpm (480 L/min). It can handle a maximum operating pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar), making it suitable for high-pressure applications. The valve has a hex size of 1-5/8 inches (41.3 mm) and requires an installation torque between 350 and 375 lbf-ft (475 to 508 Nm). Weighing approximately 2.90 lb (1.30 kg), it is equipped with Viton seals as part of its cartridge seal kit option (990034006).
