The Sun Hydraulics FLJAXDV (Material Number: FLJAXDV) is a specialized filter element designed for hydraulic systems, available in both Surface Type Last Chance and Depth Style configurations. It features a unidirectional flow path from Port 2 to Port 1 and should not be reversed, even with a reverse free flow check valve. This filter boasts a high collapse pressure, making it suitable for inline system use to protect the entire valve stack when installed directly above the subplate. The Surface Type element utilizes a 304 stainless steel mesh media and internal components, offering a nominal rating of 40 microns and an absolute rating of 63 microns. This design is effective at capturing particles that might bypass the main system filter or result from component failure, providing unnoticed protection during regular operation but acting as a safeguard against sudden failures. The Depth Type elements incorporate pleated microglass media with clear zinc-coated components, available in nominal ranges of 3, 10, and 25 microns.
