The Sun Hydraulics FRCAKBN (Material Number: FRCAKBN) is a bypass-restrictive, fixed-orifice, priority flow control valve designed to manage input flow efficiently. It operates by taking an input flow at port 1 and directing it to satisfy the priority flow at port 3. If the input flow exceeds the priority requirement, the excess is bypassed out of port 2 for use in a secondary circuit. This model requires customers to specify a flow rating, with factory settings accurate within 10% of the requested value. The valve supports both priority and bypass flows up to the system's maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar). Priority flow remains relatively constant despite variations in input flow, whereas bypass flow becomes available only after satisfying priority requirements.
