The Sun Hydraulics MMA (Material Number: MMA) is a versatile line mount manifold designed for hydraulic applications. This model features a ninety-degree body type and includes two mounting holes with a diameter of 0.34 inches (8.6 mm), which are drilled through the manifold for easy installation. It is equipped with a T31A cavity and a port size of 1/4 NPTF, making it suitable for various hydraulic systems that require efficient fluid distribution. The manifold is constructed from 6061-T651 aluminum, known for its excellent corrosion resistance and relative strength, making it ideal for environments where durability is crucial. However, it should be noted that this aluminum manifold is not suitable for system pressures exceeding 3000 psi (210 bar). The design does not include anodizing due to several reasons, including cost considerations and the potential reduction in fatigue life by up to 50% caused by anodizing-induced stress cracks. This product is particularly advantageous in applications where weight and corrosion resistance are critical factors, delivering reliable performance without the need for additional surface treatments like anodizing.

Notes:
  • Important: Carefully consider the maximum system pressure. The pressure rating of the manifold is dependent on the manifold material, with the port type/size a secondary consideration. Manifolds constructed of aluminum are not rated for pressures higher than 3000 psi (210 bar), regardless of the port type/size specified.
