The Sun Hydraulics MNA (MNA) is a line mount manifold specifically designed for hydraulic applications. This component features a ninety-degree body type and includes two mounting holes with a diameter of 0.34 inches (8.6 mm) that extend through the entire depth, allowing for secure installation. The manifold accommodates one open cavity of type T-31A and has a port size of 1/4 NPTF, making it suitable for integration into various hydraulic systems. Constructed from 6061-T651 aluminum, this manifold offers excellent corrosion resistance without the need for anodizing, which can compromise fatigue life by creating brittle surfaces prone to crack initiation under pressure. The material choice ensures durability while maintaining cost-effectiveness and machining efficiency. It is important to consider that manifolds made from aluminum are not rated for pressures exceeding 3000 psi (210 bar), regardless of port size or type, which should be taken into account when designing hydraulic systems utilizing this component.

Notes:
  • Important: Carefully consider the maximum system pressure. The pressure rating of the manifold is dependent on the manifold material, with the port type/size a secondary consideration. Manifolds constructed of aluminum are not rated for pressures higher than 3000 psi (210 bar), regardless of the port type/size specified.
