The Sun Hydraulics NCGCHEN (NCGCHEN) is a needle valve with a reverse-flow check, designed for precise flow regulation in hydraulic systems. This fully adjustable orifice allows for infinite adjustment from fully closed to the maximum orifice diameter, providing versatile flow control. It features an integral high-capacity check valve that permits unrestricted flow from port 2 to port 1, though it is not pressure compensated. The valve's design ensures physical and functional interchangeability with all 2-port flow control cartridges of the same frame size, albeit with potential variations in cartridge extension dimensions from the mounting surface. This needle valve operates by regulating flow through a fixed orifice size that is proportional to the square root of the pressure differential across ports 1 and 2.
