The Sun Hydraulics NFCCHDN (NFCCHDN) is a versatile needle valve designed for precise flow regulation in hydraulic systems. This fully adjustable orifice valve allows for infinite adjustments from a completely closed position to the maximum orifice diameter, making it suitable for use as both a flow control and shutoff valve. The NFCCHDN model is not pressure compensated, meaning the flow through the valve is controlled based on the square root of the pressure differential between ports 1 and 2. It features a balanced adjustment mechanism that facilitates easy adjustments even under high-pressure conditions. The design includes a sharp-edged orifice to minimize flow variations due to changes in fluid viscosity, ensuring consistent performance.
