The Sun Hydraulics NFCCKCV (NFCCKCV) is a versatile needle valve designed for precise flow regulation in hydraulic systems. This fully adjustable orifice allows for infinite adjustment from fully closed to the maximum orifice diameter, making it ideal for applications requiring meticulous flow control or complete shutoff. The NFCCKCV model is not pressure compensated, which means the fixed orifice size regulates flow based on the square root of the pressure differential between ports 1 and 2. This valve features a balanced adjustment mechanism that facilitates easy tuning even under high pressure conditions, and its sharp-edged orifice design minimizes flow variations due to changes in fluid viscosity. This 2-port flow control cartridge is interchangeable with others of the same frame size, maintaining the same flow path and cavity dimensions, although cartridge extension dimensions may vary. With a bidirectional flow path\u2014preferably from port 1 to 2\u2014the NFCCKCV ensures interchangeability with other flow controls without leakage when fully closed.
