The Sun Hydraulics NFCCOCV (Material Number: NFCCOCV) is a versatile needle valve designed for precise flow regulation in hydraulic systems. This fully adjustable orifice allows users to control flow rates from fully closed to the maximum orifice diameter without pressure compensation. It serves dual functions as both a flow control and shutoff valve. The NFCCOCV model features a balanced adjustment mechanism, facilitating smooth adjustments even under high-pressure conditions, with a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar). The sharp-edged orifice design ensures minimal flow variation due to changes in fluid viscosity, while the bidirectional flow path offers flexibility in installation, with the preferred direction being from port 1 to 2 for compatibility with other flow controls. The valve's physical and functional interchangeability across all 2-port flow control cartridges means it shares the same cavity and flow path for a given frame size, although extension dimensions might vary.
