The Sun Hydraulics NFDCYAV (Material Number: NFDCYAV) is a versatile needle valve designed for precise flow regulation in hydraulic systems. This fully adjustable orifice can be used as a flow control or shutoff valve, offering infinite adjustability from fully closed to its maximum orifice diameter. Not pressure compensated, it regulates flow in proportion to the square root of the pressure differential across ports 1 and 2. The balanced adjustment mechanism ensures easy operation even under high pressures, while the sharp-edged orifice design minimizes flow variations due to viscosity changes. The valve supports bidirectional flow with a preferred path from port 1 to 2 for interchangeability with other flow controls. It guarantees zero leakage when fully closed.
