The Sun Hydraulics NFDDOGV (NFDDOGV) is a versatile needle valve designed for precise flow regulation in hydraulic systems. This valve features an infinitely adjustable orifice, allowing users to control flow rates from fully closed to the maximum orifice diameter without pressure compensation. It can function as both a flow control and shutoff valve, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The NFDDOGV model is compatible with other 2-port flow control cartridges, offering physical and functional interchangeability, though extension dimensions may vary. This needle valve operates by regulating flow in proportion to the square root of the pressure differential across its ports, thanks to its noncompensating design.
