The Sun Hydraulics PPHFKQV (PPHFKQV) is a pilot-operated, pressure-reducing/relieving valve designed to lower a high primary pressure at inlet port 2 to a consistent reduced pressure at port 1, with an additional full-flow relief function from port 1 to tank port 3. This model features the main stage orifice drilled directly into the piston, enhancing its durability for physically demanding applications. The valve setting is influenced by pressure at port 3 on a 1:1 basis, with a maximum allowable pressure of 3000 psi (210 bar).
