The Sun Hydraulics PPHFQEV (PPHFQEV) is a pilot-operated, pressure reducing-relieving valve designed to reduce a high primary pressure at the inlet port 2 to a constant reduced pressure at port 1, while offering a full-flow relief function from port 1 to tank port 3. This valve features a main stage orifice drilled directly into the piston, enhancing its durability in physically demanding applications. The valve setting can be directly influenced by the pressure at port 3, maintaining a maximum allowable pressure of 3000 psi (210 bar). The recommended maximum inlet pressure is contingent on the adjustment range: ranges D, E, N, and Q support up to a 2000 psi (140 bar) differential, while ranges A, B, and H accommodate up to a 3000 psi (210 bar) differential. For ranges C and W, an inlet pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar) is permissible.   • These valves have the main stage orifice drilled into the piston rather than a staked-in orifice. This allows the valve to survive physically demanding applications.
