The Sun Hydraulics PPJFLNN (PPJFLNN) is a pilot-operated, pressure-reducing and relieving valve designed to maintain a constant reduced pressure at port 1 from a high primary pressure at inlet port 2, while also providing a full-flow relief function from port 1 to tank port 3. This valve features an orifice drilled directly into the piston, enhancing its durability for demanding applications. It supports a maximum pressure of 3000 psi (210 bar) at port 3, with pressure at this port being directly additive to the valve setting in a 1:1 ratio. The valve is not fast-acting; for quicker dynamic response, direct-acting valves are recommended. The recommended maximum inlet pressure varies by adjustment range, with ranges D, E, N, and Q tested for up to a 2000 psi differential and ranges A, B, and H for up to a 3000 psi differential.
