The Sun Hydraulics PRFBCAV (Material Number: PRFBCAV) is a direct-acting pressure reducing/relieving valve designed to manage high primary pressures at the inlet port 2, reducing them to a constant lower pressure at port 1, with a full-flow relief function from port 1 to tank port 3. This valve features a damped construction for stable operation and allows for the use of high reduced pressure. It is engineered such that pressure at port 3 adds directly to the valve setting in a 1:1 ratio, with a maximum allowable pressure of 3000 psi (210 bar). The leakage from port 3 is dependent on both the pressure differential and viscosity, being directly proportional to the former and inversely proportional to the latter.
