The Sun Hydraulics PSFBCAN (Material Number: PSFBCAN) is a direct-acting pressure reducing/relieving valve designed to manage high primary pressure at the inlet port 2, reducing it to a stable, lower pressure at port 1, while providing full-flow relief from port 1 to tank port 3. This valve features a damped construction for stable operation and is particularly suitable for accumulator circuits due to its low secondary circuit leakage. It operates effectively with a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) and is tested for correct operation with an inlet pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar). The valve's design includes a draining port that makes it insensitive to pressure at the tank port, ensuring reliable performance even in contaminated systems. The PSFBCAN model is not recommended for counterbalancing applications due to its transitional step between reducing and relieving modes.
