The Sun Hydraulics PVHAKBV (Material Number: PVHAKBV) is an externally drained, pilot-operated pressure reducing/relieving valve designed to manage high primary pressure at the inlet port 2, reducing it to a consistent lower pressure at port 1 while offering full-flow relief from port 1 to tank port 3. This valve is insensitive to pressure at tank port 3 due to its external drain feature at port 4, which also allows for remote control via pilot or two-way valves. The maximum allowable pressure at tank port 3 is capped at 3000 psi (210 bar), and the valve demonstrates minimal deadband transition between reducing and relieving modes. The recommended maximum inlet pressure varies by adjustment range, with ranges D, E, N, and Q tested up to a differential of 2000 psi (140 bar) between inlet and reduced pressure.
