The Sun Hydraulics PVHCCHN (PVHCCHN) is an externally drained, pilot-operated pressure reducing/relieving valve designed to reduce a high primary pressure at inlet port 2 to a constant reduced pressure at port 1. It also features a full-flow relief function from port 1 to tank port 3. The design allows for remote control via pilot or two-way valves by draining the pilot section at port 4, making the valve insensitive to pressure at tank port 3. This model incorporates a main stage orifice drilled directly into the piston, enhancing its durability in demanding applications.
