The Sun Hydraulics PVHDKEN (PVHDKEN) is a ventable, pilot-operated pressure reducing/relieving valve designed to reduce high primary pressure at the inlet to a constant reduced pressure at port 1, while providing a full-flow relief function from port 1 to tank port 3. This valve features a vent port (port 4) that allows for remote control by pilot or two-way valves. Unlike traditional designs, the main stage orifice is drilled into the piston, enhancing its durability for physically demanding applications. The valve setting can be directly influenced by the pressure at port 3 in a 1:1 ratio, with a maximum allowable pressure of 3000 psi (210 bar).
