The Sun Hydraulics RBACFCV (RBACFCV) is a direct-acting, pilot relief cartridge designed to remotely control the pressure setting of other pilot-operated valves. This valve is particularly suited for use in load-holding applications and should be paired with higher flow valves due to its capacity being limited to pilot flow. The main stage orifice is protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen, ensuring durability and reliability in various environments. Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are specifically intended for systems using phosphate ester fluids, as exposure to petroleum-based substances can damage these seals. The RBACFCV model incorporates Sun\u2019s floating style construction, which minimizes the risk of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or machining variations. With a cavity size of T-10A and Series 1 capacity of 0.25 gpm (1 L/min), this valve can handle a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar). It features a typical response time of 2 ms and has maximum valve leakage at 110 SUS (24 cSt) of 5 drops/min (0.3 cc/min). Adjustments can be made through five clockwise turns to increase the setting, and it includes an adjustment screw with an internal hex size of 5/32 in. (4 mm). The valve hex size measures 7/8 in.
