The Sun Hydraulics RBACLWE (Material Number: RBACLWE) is a direct-acting, pilot relief cartridge designed to remotely control the pressure setting of other pilot-operated valves. This component is ideal for use in load-holding applications and should be paired with higher flow valves due to its limited capacity for pilot flow. It features EPDM seals, making it suitable for systems utilizing phosphate ester fluids, but caution is advised as exposure to petroleum-based fluids can damage these seals. The main stage orifice is safeguarded by a 150-micron stainless steel screen, enhancing its durability and reliability. This cartridge incorporates Sun's floating style construction, which helps prevent internal parts from binding due to excessive installation torque or machining variations in the cavity/cartridge. It operates within a maximum pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) and has a typical response time of 2 ms. The valve offers an adjustable setting range using W or Y controls unless a special setting is specified, which then acts as the valve's maximum setting.
