The Sun Hydraulics RBADKDV (RBADKDV) is a direct-acting, pilot relief cartridge that features back-to-back check valves. This design allows the cartridge to remotely control two other pilot-operated valves or serve as a thermal relief for both ends of an actuator. It is essential to use this valve with other components that have comparable pilot flows due to its limited capacity to pilot flow. The integrated back-to-back check valves effectively prevent cross talk between the two remotely controlled valves, ensuring precise operation. A single adjustment can control both valves, and the check cracking pressure is set at 15 psi (1 bar). Additionally, pressure at port 3 directly adds to the valve setting, making it suitable for load-holding applications.
