The Sun Hydraulics RBADLWN (RBADLWN) is a direct-acting, pilot relief cartridge designed with back-to-back check valves, enabling it to remotely control two other pilot-operated valves or serve as a thermal relief for both ends of an actuator. This design is suitable for load-holding applications and prevents cross-talk between the two controlled valves. The valve's capacity is limited to pilot flow, making it ideal for use with other valves that have comparable pilot flows. It features a check cracking pressure of 15 psi (1 bar), and the pressure at port 3 is directly additive to the valve setting. The RBADLWN incorporates Sun's floating style construction to reduce the risk of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or machining variations. With a cavity T-11A, Series 1 capacity of 0.25 gpm (1 L/min), and typical response time of 2 ms, this valve offers efficient operation with minimal leakage at maximum levels of 5 drops/min (0.3 cc/min). Adjustments are made via an internal hex screw, with five clockwise turns required to increase settings, while locknut torque ranges from 80-90 lbf-in (9-10 Nm). The valve hex size measures 7/8 in. (22.2 mm), and installation torque ranges between 30-35 lbf-ft (41-47 Nm). It comes equipped with a Viton seal kit (990011006), ensuring durability and compatibility with various hydraulic systems.
