The Sun Hydraulics RBADODN (RBADODN) is a direct-acting, pilot relief cartridge designed with back-to-back check valves. This feature enables it to remotely control two other pilot-operated valves or serve as a thermal relief for both ends of an actuator. It is crucial to use this valve in conjunction with others that have comparable pilot flows due to its capacity being limited to pilot flow. The back-to-back check valves play a critical role in preventing cross talk between the two controlled valves, ensuring seamless operation. Notably, one adjustment can control both valves simultaneously, and the check cracking pressure is set at 15 psi (1 bar). Furthermore, any pressure at port 3 directly adds to the valve setting. The valve features a hex size of 7/8 inches (22.2 mm) and should be installed with a torque between 30 - 35 lbf ft (41 - 47 Nm). The adjustment screw has an internal hex size of 5/32 inches (4 mm), while the locknut has a hex size of 9/16 inches (15 mm) and should be torqued between 80 - 90 lbf in (9 - 10 Nm).
