The Sun Hydraulics RBADODV (RBADODV) is a direct-acting, pilot relief cartridge designed to enhance hydraulic system control through its unique configuration incorporating back-to-back check valves. This feature allows the valve to remotely control two other pilot-operated valves or serve as a thermal relief for both ends of an actuator, making it suitable for load-holding applications. The valve's capacity is limited to pilot flow, so it should be used in conjunction with other valves that have comparable pilot flows. The back-to-back check valves effectively prevent cross talk between the two remotely controlled valves, and a single adjustment can control both. The RBADODV features a check cracking pressure of 15 psi (1 bar), and pressure at port 3 is directly additive to the valve setting.
