The Sun Hydraulics RBAECCV (RBAECCV) is a versatile two-port, pilot-stage, direct-acting relief cartridge designed for pressure regulation. This normally closed valve opens a flow path from port 1 to port 2 when the inlet pressure at port 1 surpasses the spring force setting. It utilizes the Sun T8A two-port cavity, making it an ideal choice for integration with Sun's main stage pilot or vent-to-operate cartridges, eliminating the need for separate pilot lines and requiring only one cavity to accommodate both control and primary functions. The valve is interchangeable with other two-position, two-way pilot stage control cartridges within the same cavity, with functionality being the primary consideration. This relief cartridge supports pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2. Its hardened poppet and seat ensure consistent operation, low leakage rates, and superior wear resistance. Notably, backpressure at port 2 outlet adds directly to the pressure setting at port 1 inlet.
