The Sun Hydraulics RBAELWV (RBAELWV) is a two-port, pilot-stage, direct-acting relief cartridge designed as a fully adjustable, normally closed pressure regulating valve. This component is engineered to open a flow path from port 1 inlet to port 2 tank when the inlet pressure surpasses the spring force valve setting. It utilizes the Sun T8A two-port cavity, making it an ideal choice for integration with Sun's main stage pilot or vent-to-operate cartridges, eliminating the need for separate pilot lines and requiring only one cavity for both control and primary functions. Notably, all two-position, two-way pilot stage control cartridges share the same cavity and are interchangeable based on functionality. The installation process requires that the main stage valve is torqued correctly before installing the T8A pilot control section into it at its specified torque value.
