The Sun Hydraulics RBAEODV (RBAEODV) is a two-port, pilot-stage, direct-acting relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation in hydraulic systems. This normally closed valve opens a flow path from port 1 to port 2 when the inlet pressure at port 1 surpasses the spring force setting, effectively managing system pressure. Utilizing the Sun T8A two-port cavity, this cartridge is ideal for integration with Sun's main stage pilot or vent-to-operate cartridges, eliminating the need for separate pilot lines and simplifying installation by requiring only one cavity to fulfill both control and primary functions. The valve features a hardened poppet and seat to ensure consistent operation, low leakage rates, and enhanced wear characteristics. Ports 1 and 2 can handle pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar), with backpressure at port 2 directly adding to the pressure setting at port 1.
