The Sun Hydraulics RBAEYCE (RBAEYCE) is a two-port, pilot-stage, direct-acting relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation. This fully adjustable, normally closed valve opens a flow path from port 1 to port 2 when the inlet pressure at port 1 surpasses the spring force valve setting. It utilizes the Sun T8A two-port cavity, making it ideal for integration with Sun's main stage pilot or vent-to-operate cartridges. This configuration eliminates separate pilot lines and requires only one machined cavity to accommodate both control and primary functions. Ports 1 and 2 can handle pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar), ensuring robust performance under high-pressure conditions. The RBAEYCE features hardened poppet and seat components for consistent operation, minimal leakage, and superior wear resistance. The backpressure at port 2 is directly additive to the pressure setting at port 1, providing precise control over system pressures. Cartridges with EPDM seals are compatible with systems using phosphate ester fluids but should not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids or lubricants as this will damage the seals. Two-port, pilot-stage, direct-acting relief cartridges are fully adjustable, normally closed pressure regulating valves. When the pressure at port 1 (inlet) is sufficient to overcome the spring force (valve setting), a flow path is opened from port 1 to port 2 (tank).
