The Sun Hydraulics RDBALSN (RDBALSN) is a direct-acting relief cartridge designed for hydraulic systems, functioning as a pressure-limiting valve to safeguard components from pressure surges. This normally closed valve opens to the tank port when the inlet pressure reaches the set threshold, effectively throttling flow to limit further pressure increase. Direct-acting relief cartridges are normally closed, pressure-limiting valves used to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. When the pressure at the inlet (port 1) reaches the valve setting, the valve starts to open to tank (port 2), throttling flow to limit the pressure rise.
