The Sun Hydraulics RDDACCV (RDDACCV) is a direct-acting relief cartridge designed to safeguard hydraulic components from pressure spikes by limiting pressure rise. When the inlet port 1 reaches the set pressure, the valve opens to tank port 2, throttling flow. This valve is noted for its smooth, quiet operation and virtually zero leakage, making it highly dirt tolerant and immune to silting. It can handle maximum pressure at port 2 and is suitable for cross-port relief circuits. The valve's adjustment screw seals are exposed to system pressure, requiring adjustment only when pressure is removed. It is relatively insensitive to oil temperature variations and contamination, ensuring reliable performance in load-holding applications.
