The Sun Hydraulics RDFALAV (RDFALAV) is a direct-acting relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients by functioning as a normally closed, pressure-limiting valve. When the inlet port 1 reaches the valve's set pressure, it begins to open, directing flow to tank port 2 and throttling it to limit any further rise in pressure.
