The Sun Hydraulics RDJALBV (Material Number: RDJALBV) is a direct-acting relief cartridge valve designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve opens to the tank port when the inlet port pressure reaches the valve setting, effectively throttling flow to limit pressure rise. Known for its smooth and quiet operation, this valve is essentially zero-leak and dirt tolerant, making it highly reliable and fast in response. It features a 2-port design that allows for physical and functional interchangeability with other relief cartridges of the same frame size and flow path. The RDJALBV can handle a maximum operating pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar) and has a capacity of 200 gpm (760 L/min). It is suitable for cross-port relief circuits and load-holding applications. The valve's adjust screw seals are exposed to system pressure; thus, adjustments can only be made when the system is depressurized.
