The Sun Hydraulics RPCCKQV (RPCCKQV) is a pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation in hydraulic systems. These cartridges are typically closed and begin to open when the inlet port pressure reaches the valve setting, directing flow to the tank port to maintain regulated pressure. Known for their accuracy and smooth operation, these valves exhibit low pressure rise relative to flow and offer a moderately fast response time of approximately 10 milliseconds. They are suitable for use in cross-port relief circuits, accepting maximum pressure at port 2, though spool leakage should be considered in these applications.
