The Sun Hydraulics RPCCLQV (Material Number: RPCCLQV) is a pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed for pressure regulation applications. This valve operates by maintaining a normally closed position until the pressure at the inlet port reaches a predetermined setting, at which point it opens to the tank port, effectively throttling flow to regulate pressure. It is known for its accuracy, low pressure rise relative to flow, smooth and quiet operation, and moderate response speed. The RPCCLQV is interchangeable with other 2-port relief cartridges of the same frame size and flow path, except for pilot reliefs. It can handle maximum pressure at port 2, making it suitable for cross-port relief circuits; however, users should consider spool leakage in such applications.
