The Sun Hydraulics RPEEKEV (RPEEKEV) is a fast-acting, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve opens rapidly when the inlet port pressure reaches the set point, directing flow to the tank port to limit further pressure increase. It features low pressure rise versus flow and exceptional speed, making it ideal for applications requiring quick response times. The valve can accept maximum pressure at port 2 and is suitable for cross-port relief circuits, though spool leakage should be considered in such configurations. The main stage orifice is safeguarded by a 150-micron stainless steel screen, ensuring durability and reliability under high-pressure conditions.
