The Sun Hydraulics RPEEOBV (RPEEOBV) is a fast-acting, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve opens rapidly to manage pressure spikes, with the trade-off being less smooth operation. It activates when the inlet port 1 reaches a preset pressure, opening to tank port 2 and throttling flow to limit further pressure increase.
