The Sun Hydraulics RPEEOCV (RPEEOCV) is a fast-acting, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve opens to the tank port when the inlet port pressure reaches the valve setting, effectively throttling flow to limit pressure rise. It is characterized by its low pressure rise versus flow and rapid response time of approximately 2 milliseconds. The valve can accept maximum pressure at port 2 and is suitable for cross port relief circuits, though spool leakage should be considered in such applications.
