The Sun Hydraulics RPEEOWV (RPEEOWV) is a fast-acting, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed valve opens quickly at the expense of smoothness when the inlet port pressure reaches the valve setting, directing flow to the tank port to limit pressure rise. It features low pressure rise versus flow and rapid response time, making it suitable for applications requiring quick pressure relief. The valve can handle maximum pressure at port 2 and is suitable for cross-port relief circuits, though spool leakage should be considered in such applications.
