The Sun Hydraulics RPESYWV (Material Number: RPESYWV) is a pilot-operated, balanced-poppet relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation in hydraulic systems. This normally closed valve opens to the tank port when the inlet pressure reaches the set level, effectively throttling flow to maintain desired pressure levels. Known for its accuracy, smooth operation, and low noise, it features a low-pressure rise versus flow and quick response time of approximately 7 milliseconds. The cartridge is highly resilient to cavitation issues such as noise and manifold erosion due to its internal modulating design. This relief valve can handle maximum pressures of up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at port 2, making it suitable for cross-port relief circuits and load-holding applications.
