The Sun Hydraulics RPGEJJV (RPGEJJV) is a fast-acting, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This valve is normally closed and functions as a pressure-limiting device by opening to the tank port when the inlet pressure reaches the set limit, thereby throttling flow and limiting pressure rise. The RPGEJJV model is characterized by its low pressure rise versus flow and rapid response time of approximately 2 milliseconds. It features a main stage orifice protected by a 150-micron stainless steel screen, ensuring durability and reliability in operation.
