The Sun Hydraulics RPGELVV (RPGELVV) is a fast-acting, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve opens quickly when the inlet port pressure reaches the set threshold, directing flow to the tank port to manage and limit pressure rise effectively. The RPGELVV cartridge is physically and functionally interchangeable with other 2-port relief cartridges of the same frame size, offering flexibility in various applications including cross port relief circuits.
