The Sun Hydraulics RPGEMAV (RPGEMAV) is a fast-acting, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve opens rapidly but may sacrifice smoothness in operation. When the inlet port 1 pressure reaches the set threshold, the valve opens to tank port 2, controlling flow to limit pressure rise. It features low pressure rise versus flow and exceptionally quick response times. The RPGEMAV is interchangeable with other 2-port relief cartridges of the same frame size, sharing identical flow paths and cavity configurations.
