The Sun Hydraulics RPIDBBV (RPIDBBV) is an air-controlled, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation. This valve utilizes compressed air over a diaphragm to control the pressure setting instead of an adjustable spring, making it suitable for applications requiring smooth and quiet operation with moderate speed. It is typically used in systems where accurate pressure control is essential, such as cross port relief circuits. The valve is normally closed and begins to open to tank port 2 when the inlet port 1 pressure reaches the set value, throttling flow to maintain the desired pressure.
