The Sun Hydraulics RQCBKWN (Material Number: RQCBKWN) is a kickdown relief cartridge valve designed to function similarly to a circuit breaker in an electrical system. This valve is engineered to kick completely open and maintain an open state once the pressure at inlet port 1 exceeds the preset valve setting, enabling an unrestricted flow path from port 1 to tank port 2. It remains open as long as the pressure at port 1 surpasses that at port 2. To reset, the flow from port 1 to port 2 must stop, and pressure at port 2 should be equal to or greater than that at port 1. The main stage orifice is safeguarded by a robust 150-micron stainless steel screen, ensuring durability and performance integrity. This model is not suitable for load-holding applications and is intended for use on the actuator side of a hydraulic system since flow cessation through the valve is required for resetting. If applied on the pump side, pump flow must be halted for reset purposes. Back pressure on tank port 2 directly adds to the valve setting at a ratio of 1:1. All two-port relief cartridges, except pilot reliefs, are interchangeable in terms of flow path and cavity size within a given frame size.
